Quortus Appoints Steve Coppins to Lead Business Development


Guildford,UK – 13th January 2014 – Quortus, the company creating virtual mobile core solutions for small networks, today announced that Steve Coppins has joined the company as Business Development Manager. In this role, Steve will be responsible for the sales of Quortus’ portfolio of state of the art software applications that allows core network functionality to be installed on small cells, commodity hardware or in the cloud, reducing operation costs and enhancing user experience by placing 4G, 3G and GSM core functionality where it is needed. Steve joins from Nokia Siemens Networks where he spent more than 15 years in a number of roles, most recently he was responsible for developing relationships, expanding sales and increasing profitability with major accounts. He also represented the company within the UK government ESMCP programme – relating to next generation LTE-based public safety developments – and was responsible for positioning new propositions including DVB-H and on-train communications.
