Quortus pre-installed solutions take everything you would expect from its collapsed core and marry it with best of breed hardware. This provides customers with a solution that once connected to the Radio Access Network is ready to go. There are a number of variants to choose from depending on the scale, technologies required, physical aspects and power requirements.

ECXCore-500 - small yet powerful
The small yet powerful 64-bit quad-core Odroid-C2 is ideal for small-scale Private LTE systems where space and weight are a limiting factor. Perfect for sub 32 user Private Cellular applications like in-vehicle, remote IoT and Network In a Box (NIB) applications.
With 2GB RAM the single board computer (SBC) is one of the most cost-effective 64bit boards of its size. The ECXCore-500 bundles the Odroid-C2 PC with the 4G ECX Core pre-installed on a 16GB Memory card. Housed within either a plastic or aluminium enclosure to protect the board whilst still allowing easy access to the 4x USB, HDMI, DC power and LAN ports.
The ECXCore-500 form factor, weight and power requirements mean it’s easy to incorporate into very small network in a box (NIB) type applications, vehicle installations and anywhere else where space is at a premium. The solution comes preconfigured so that once powered and connected to the LAN its ready go. Users/devices and 4G eNodeB’s (S1 interface to eNodeB’s is fully interoperable) are administered through either the simple to use web GUI or via the Command line interface. A SOAP API is also available for integration into 3rd party systems.
The Quortus Core virtualised network core provides all the functions required of a 3GPP 4G network. Quortus Core provides flexibility in the way networks can be architected and deployed, supporting operation as a fully self-contained system, or within the defined 3GPP reference architecture. Quortus Core supports standard interoperable interfaces to enable connectivity with 3rd party elements. HSS/HLR functionality enables the creation of standalone private networks. Quortus Core includes an integrated PGW allowing data to be placed directly on a local LAN.
ECXCore-1000 - industrial server
The industrial server from Quortus enables Private LTE to be run on a single hardened, fanless computer with 5x Gb LAN ports negating the need for a switch for installations with a smaller number of radios. ECX Core is pre-installed and ready to go and perfect for deployments of up to 100 simultaneous users.
ECXCore-1000 comprises of the fanless, ventless, and dust-resistant Logic Supply ML400G-12. This makes it ideal for harsh environments like factories, remote locations and vehicles (when fitted with an anti-vibration kit) allowing for an easy, secure installation virtually anywhere. Form factor remains small allowing multiple deployment options aided by DIN, VESA and wall mount slots. Additionally it can be rack mounted with the supplied 19” rack adapter.
Radios can be directly connected on one of the 5 LAN ports and connect to the core via the fully interoprable S1 interface. Along with the 5 LAN ports the ML400G-12 also features 6 USB ports (including a USB 3.0 port), VGA and HDMI video output, dual PS/2 ports and RS-232. This multitude of I/O allows for a perfect fit in a wide variety of applications including networking, telecommunications, security and IoT.
The Quortus virtualised core network, supporting 4G LTE core functions applicable to a standard 3GPP architecture is pre-installed ready for the provisioning of users and devices. Commissioning is via the easy to use web GUI or alternatively the fully feature Command Line Interface. A SOAP API is also available for integration into 3rd party systems.
