Quortus is a pioneering UK company changing the mobile communications world by using the best IT principles to create innovative mobile communication software that is easy to deploy, manage and scale. We have created a software defined core network technology platform and a suite of products spanning 3GPP 4G, 3G and GSM standards, in addition to taking the lead with emerging technologies such as Mobile Edge Computing (MEC), private 5G and cellular core network virtualisation.
Quortus is headquartered in Camberley, UK, where all of our products are developed.
Products and Solutions
Quortus Core is a multi-standard, fully-featured, virtualized cellular core network solution providing ultimate deployment flexibility for service providers and systems integrators. It incorporates open standard (3GPP compliant) network functions to provide a tightly integrated yet powerful combination of mobile cellular standards, primarily 4G LTE and now emerging 5G. The solution architecture reduces operator costs and integration complexity whilst offering innovative network features that enable service accessibility and revenue growth. Quortus Core is the ideal platform to support hosted or distributed ‘edge’ deployments.
Quortus Tactical is a software suite that creates field-deployable private 4G networks. The suite is specifically designed for public safety organizations, emergency services, defense operations and other government or aid agencies. It combines the security, mobility and high-reliability benefits of an all-IP cellular 4G core network with essential group-oriented features associated with legacy critical communications such as Tetra and P25.
Quortus Sentinel is a Managed Access System (MAS) solution that supports 2G, 3G and 4G technologies and has been designed to satisfy the needs of organisations and facilities that need to tightly control access to mobile services in a defined area.
